Teachers often set assignment activities that ask for a photo of pupils work to be uploaded. In this post, we'll run through the steps of taking and uploading a photo, both from your computer and from a smart phone or tablet.
Taking a photo and uploading from a computer
To take a photo with the camera on your computer...
Open the camera app on your computer
Hold the work in front of your computer's camera
Take a photo
Open the camera app's photos folder
Note the location of the new photo file
From the activity Your answer pane click Choose file. The computer's file explorer window is displayed
Navigate to the camera app's photos folder
Select the photo file to upload
Click Open
The photo will be uploaded for the teacher to review.
Taking a photo and uploading from a phone or tablet
Pupils can also take a photo with a phone or tablet and upload it as a response to a file-upload assignment activity directly from the phone or tablet.
From the activity Your answer pane click Choose file. Phones or tablets typically then show options to take or select a photo.

Select the camera option
Hold the work in front of the camera
Take a photo
To select an existing photo...
Use the phone/tablet's file explorer to navigate to the photo
Select the photo to upload
The photo will be uploaded for the teacher to review.
